Welcome

GROW, INC is a nonprofit organization located in Pennsylvania created to honor the loving memory of Raymond Turner. Inspired by Katrina Allen, GROW is dedicated to carrying forward Raymond‘s vision of providing a safe stable and nurturing environment for at risk youth aged 12-18. Here, we empower young people to overcome adversity, unlock their full potential and pave the way for brighter futures.

Our
Story

Katrina Allen and her cousin Raymond Turner

lovingly nicknamed each other fav— were raised in North Philadelphia, where they witnessed firsthand the fast-paced, crime-ridden lifestyle that often derails young people with limited support. Raymond's passion for helping youth led him to volunteer at a local Youth Study Center, eventually getting hired thanks to his unwavering dedication and his natural ability to connect with troubled teens. Raymond also worked at Paan, a nonprofit agency dedicated to addressing drug abuse and violence among youth and their families.

Raymond dreamed of creating a nonprofit offering a caring home and resources for those with nowhere else to go, especially when they needed a secure place before court hearings or after discharge from temporary facilities. Tragically, he passed away in a bike accident in May 2024, leaving behind his vision of hope. Determined to honor her cousin’s legacy, Katrina launched GROW, INC to bring Raymond’s dream to life and continue making a difference for kids in need.
